You have to rotate an object to save it's floated height. Another possibility is that you are not floating them high enough but the minimum float height for Wooden slats is very low so if you have it 3+ shelf thicknesses high it should be high enough for sure. I just floated one to ~1.5 riviera shelf thickness and it stays up.In the meantime, we still have the floating glitch to work with so we can give the appearance of furnishing being on the lofts. It's not that hard to do with a little practice and convenient that the Wooden Loft allows us to float multiple items at the same time as a group.
