This may not seem like much of a difference, and on its own it isn't. But even the slightest slow down of 0.04 can be enough for zombies to land their grab. Keeping in mind the grab also slows you down by itself. In shambler this doesn't often come up, but on sprinters it is often life or death despite being so subtle.
