There is a kite beach and plenty of fishing! Bathrooms are porta potties but they are available. Lots of parking. A good place to spend the dayIt wasnt until I got a boat and drifted across did I realize how many holes and deep holes there are , plus with tides and years they get deeper and change . Very treacherous especially with ship wakes . As for tgd old texas city dike pier , the "drum hole" was very deep also . It was located on right side of pier on 1st corner of pier .
