As said before you need to build a platform outside that you can stand on to build the wall from the outside. And when you build that platform and place the first wall the character will instantly just go inside and build it from the inside instead. 10/10 coding on building in this game...Sleep events are when the game spawns zombies in the room you are sleeping in and wakes you up. There won't be any visual changes, but it'll work. Oh yes. A max level metal, with metal frame, is the best wall. A max level metal wall, with wooden frame (max carp too), is weaker. And so that logic goes on down the line. With log walls as the weakest, that do not seem to benefit from any skill modifiers, but do benefit from the trait modifier to buildings (handy).
