Also pressing stop stops the encoding but sometimes the encoding process gets stuck in the background resulting in multiple processes after trying multiple times. A single instance of Handbrake seemed to be trying to use all 24 cores. When I limited the affinity to just 6 cores, the CPU utilization went up from 7 to 11 percent. All 6 active cores were running between 85 and 100%. I then started 3 instances of Handbrake, and let them all use all cores. Handbrake doesn't have the option of AV1 for video so it was recommended that I try StaxRip (if there is a better option, I'm not married to using StaxRip but I would prefer some ease of use of possible). I could use some help on which settings to tweak to encode some of my stuff.
