Nov 5, 2017 · That being said, I have a stock 2017 TRD Pro with 275/70R17 KO2s and I don't have any rubbing issues unless I reverse at full lock and go over a bump. When that happens, my driver's side tire rubs on the mudflap very slightly. If I had 285 KO2s, I would likely rub in regular day-to-day driving. 265/70R17 I have no rubbing even when I'm off-roading.

The other ones I'm looking at are 275/70/17 tires, specifically the BFG KO2's. I love the looks of this tire and they come in a white letter which I do like. These are the same height as the 255/75/17 but they are about 10 lbs heavier (55lbs) and wider than the BFG KM's I mentioned.

A friend went with 275 / 70 / r17, they look very similar, and we suspect his rubbing (he has the same lift) is from the negative offset from the aftermarket rims which are -12mm. I'm using stock trail rims, +15mm offset.
