as someone who had tried to use fisher to get scrips, what he says is true, fishing gives too litle scrips for the ridiculous amount of time needed to get enought scrip fishies to buy anything you whant, botanist and miner gives you faster white scrips and in better amounts.

I did this recipe because, as you said, the materials are really cheap. Just paid around 30-40k gil for 5.4k white scrips. Find a collectable recipe with easy to gather ingredients (so not a weaver recipe, which may need leather or wool) which is ten level lower than your crafter. Gather ingredients en masse and one shot the quality.
