Some things are much easier and feel more natural though, like climbing fences faster or the vehicle radial menus. Metal working is nice. Probably not enough of a priority to start with but it has several uses. You can use metal sheets as window barracades, they are faster to apply and have more health than a plank barracade. You can also use metal bars to make a strong barracade you can see through, however this is much slower.

Firstly. engineer gives you minor bonuses to carpentry and electical. First one is very useful, but there're many classes that give you carpentry bonus too which are arguably better. Electrical on the other hand is one of the least useful (if not the worst) crafting skills in game. Unique engineer recipies sure sound intiguing but they're not ...free to play install? To do this go to Project Zomboid the properties, local files, Browse, Look for ProjectZomboid64.json, open it with notepad and look for where it says "-Xms1024m", "-Xmx2056m" And change the numbers to 8192 to change it to 8gbs of ram and save it. The best part of zomboid is its simplicity, while being complex. Melee sucks without stats. With stats, say strength to 7 and up, you can one shot most zombies. At 10 strength I was killing zombies by pushing them. Some weapons have special attacks. Knife, one hit kill from the back, stealthy. Spear, can one shot. Can charge.

The only thing I can say about it is the movement sucks. It shouldn't be a choir just to walk around a house. Bugs and worms are good bird bait for the stick traps, leafy greens and carrots are good rabbit bait for the box and cage traps. Set your bait in the AM, go do what you do in a day, return in the evening and see if you’ve scored. The traps will be visibly changed if you’ve caught anything.
